Four Liberty students from the intermediate grade levels were recognized by the Greater Albany Public Schools Board for outstanding achievement on the Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium (SBAC) tests last spring. Carolyn Schaefer had the highest scores in both the Math and English Language Arts portions of the test as a third grade student. The highest performer in Math for the fourth grade was Porter Rose, while Madeline Hoffert-Hay posted the highest score in ELA at that grade level. In the fifth grade, Sophia Hanson had the highest scores in both Math and ELA, as well as the highest score in the Oregon Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (OAKS) Science test, thus completing a clean sweep of all three tests administered at the fifth grade level! Congratulations to all of the students and their families for a job well done!
