Art Students “Zentangle”

Posted on: December 6, 2016

Fourth and fifth grade students recently produced abstract paintings which incorporated  concepts the students have been studying in art class.  The paintings, called zentangles, were based on the style of Georgia O’Keeffe and included examples of color value, including tint, shade, and hue.  Intricate patterns were also represented in the pieces, giving each a unique look.  The paintings are on display in the main entry to the school.
